Service Description
Ayurveda is the most ancient form of health science that focuses on healing a person, treating an entire being than treating a disease. It awakens the inner consciousness and aligns the body & mind to the natural rhythm of life, the cycles of the sun, moon, seasons and our environment. Therefore, it is holistic and addresses the physical, emotional and mental health of an individual. Because of the unique way it works, it is most effective in treating chronic health issues with little to no side effects, raising the quality of life and overall health. At Ayur-Vidya, we provide consultation to educate our clients on how to deal with chronic health issues like diabetes, thyroid, women's health or digestive issues using the ancient knowledge of Ayurveda & Yoga. In the first appointment, we'll discuss your goals, diet and life-styles, health history and 2-3 main concerns you want to address with Ayurveda. The session lasts for 90 minutes. Follow-up appointments will start after 3 months, and lasts from anywhere between 30mins to 45mins. For best results, consider getting the first consultation with one follow-up as a package so we can monitor the progress of your health during and after implementing suggested health recommendations. Every appointment includes recommendations for 1. Diet & Lifestyle - Personalized for your body & mind (Includes Yoga, meditation or other practices like walking, daily exercise, journaling etc) 2. Medicines (Herb mixture / Tablets / Decoctions / Medicinal Oils etc) for treating the ailment 3. Ayurvedic body treatments (A few of which are available at the clinic) You are guaranteed to leave feeling energized after every appointment.
