This is an introductory class for learning about the basics of Indian Philosophy, Yoga & Ayurveda along with Sanskrit. The class is great for anyone, 9yr old to 99yr old. One of the goals is to create interest, curiosity & love towards learning the essence of life through the lens of Yoga & Ayurveda.  

The concepts that will be covered are

1. Six Indian philosophies (षड्दर्शन्)

2. Sanskrit Basic -

  • Devanagari Alphabets & English transliteration (International standard);

  • Read & chant in Sanskrit - We will practice with numerous prayers & shlokas;

  • Write in Sanskrit - Basics will be covered, advanced will need further continuous learning.

3. Yoga Basics -

  • Yoga - Meaning & the breath of Yoga;

  • Learn 12 breathing practices; Surya Namaskara & Other Asanas;

  • 15 min of Yoga Practice in each class; hopefully inspire to create a habit. 

4. Ayurveda Basics -

  • Learn Body anatomy through Ayurvedic lens;

  • Understand health, dosas (Vata/Pitta/Kapha) and causes of imbalance;

  • Tips and tricks for getting into a balanced health & mind; tips will include food & life-style choices alongside some daily habits that promote health.


Pay for the course as per a monthly plan ($75/month for 8 months) or pay at once ($500).
