Ayurvedic medicine works with the 5 senses to heal the body and mind; senses being the gateway to the mind. At Ayur-Vidya, we provide treatments based on two primary senses - Sense of touch & hearing. Therefore, most of the treatments involve using herbal oil, herbal paste or sound and pressure (touch) therapy at different parts of the body. These treatments not only heal the body but also communicate with the mind at subtler levels to address any root-causes of the issue.

 

Before any Ayurvedic Body Treatment, the client must go through an Ayurvedic Health Assessment where an Ayurvedic Practitioner assesses the client's body & treatment needs. Treatments could take anywhere from 30 mins to 60 mins based on the type of treatment selected. The client is responsible for booking the treatment either onsite (at the Ayur-Vidya clinic) or in another place of their choice. The treatments selected on site could be provided the same day or in future depending on availability.
